Joe Rogan's theory about illegal migrants forces remark out of Democrat senator John Fetterman: "Immigration has remade Texas"

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the UFC color commentator and Senator John Fetterman explored the complex issue of immigration and its political ramifications. Fetterman opened the discussion by claiming that he was one of the first Democrats to advocate for secure borders and expressed his vigilance in these matters. He also insisted that he has not witnessed organized voter fraud linked to immigration.

Rogan challenged Fetterman, asking about the "kinds of issues" he was referring to, specifically questioning whether there were efforts to allow people to enter the country for voting purposes.

Republican leader Donald Trump and his allies have doubled down on claims that Democrats are allegedly encouraging newly arrived migrants to vote for them, which has become a contentious subject in the 2024 United States presidential election.

Rogan highlighted the concerns surrounding the potential for immigrants to be provided with services like food stamps and housing, which could lead to calls for amnesty and voting rights. He said:

"There's a significant number of these people that are illegal immigrants that have made their way to swing States and then there's been calls for amnesty. There have been calls for allowing these people to have a pathway to citizenship and allow them to vote.
"The fear that a lot of people have is that this is a coordinated effort to take these people that you're allowing to come into the country. Then you're providing them with all sorts of services like food stamps and housing and setting them up and then providing a pathway to amnesty."

Rogan added:

"Then you would have voters that would be significantly voting towards the Democrats because they're the people that enabled them to come into the country in the first place and provided them with those services. This is a big fear that people have and that you're rigging this system and that this will turn all these states into essentially locked blue like California is."

John Fetterman responded to Joe Rogan's comments by claiming that immigration has significantly transformed Texas and acknowledged its positive contributions. However, he also advocated for a comprehensive approach, in his bid to bridge divides and foster bipartisan collaboration on immigration issues.

Speaking about the contribution of immigrants in states like Texas, Fetterman said:

"Undeniably, immigration is changing our nation. I mean, I haven't spent a lot of time in Texas but it's very clear that immigration has remade Texas and I think it's generally for a good thing."

That being said, Fetterman also shed light on the need for a secure border while recognizing the complexities of immigration reform.
