Joe Rogan says California's tax hikes are driving people out of state: "Forced with no choice"
Joe Rogan recently shared his opinions about the tax structure in California. Rogan said that people are being forced to leave the state as a result of the increase in taxes.
The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), is one of the most well-known podcasts in the world, hosted by Rogan. The show has been more and more popular with a wide variety of viewers because of its unique guest roster, which typically includes fighters, artists, scientists, politicians, and fitness experts.
In an episode of JRE, Rogan hosted the cofounder of PayPal and Facebookâs first outside investor Peter Thiel. The two then discussed the tax system in California, which is the highest in the United States. The state imposed a new 14.4% tax this year on anyone making more than $1 million per year. The veteran UFC commentator claimed that individuals are being forced to leave 'The Golden State' due to tax increases. He said:
''There's not a lot of logic going on with the way people are talking about taxes today like, California just jacked their taxes up to 14 %, was it 14.4 %? You want more money for doing a terrible job and having more people leave for the first time ever in like the history of the state...people are forced with no choice what are you gonna do?''

''Oh my God. Dricus [du Plessis] is a f**king animal, dude...I was saying that those punches even though he's exhausted, you can't be in those exchanges, you're gonna get clipped. If you get clipped, you're in real trouble.''
