Joe Rogan sets the record straight on his recent take on Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: "I’m not the guy to get political information from"
Joe Rogan recently set the record straight after his comments about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. were misinterpreted. He faced criticism after his comments were viewed as an endorsement rather than a compliment.
The criticism stemmed from a Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) episode in which the UFC commentator discussed Kennedy Jr.'s book shedding light on the pandemic as well as vaccines. The aftermath saw several right-wing leaning political accounts criticising Rogan and interpreting his comments as an endorsement for Kennedy Jr.'s to be United States President.
On the contrary, that wasn't the case as the UFC commentator clapped back and cleared up any confusion that his comments had caused. Rogan mentioned that he didn't endorse Kennedy Jr. but instead complimented him for his demeanor and open dialogue. He wrote:
"For the record, this isn't an endorsement. This is me saying that I like RKFjr as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world. I also think [Donald] Trump raising his fist and saying, 'fight!' after getting shot is the most American fu***** things of all time. I'm not the guy to get political information from."

What did Joe Rogan say about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that was misinterpreted?
Joe Rogan has a massive platform with his JRE podcast and attracts listeners from various industries in addition to MMA. He recently made comments about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that resulted in his aforementioned tweet.
Having a big platform also comes scrutiny at times as his views on certain issues may not be the same as the views of a percentage of his listeners. Rogan recently shed light on Kennedy Jr. for his book and mentioned that his view of him changed after reading it. He said:
"That's politics...They gaslight you, they manipulate you. They promote narratives...The only one who's not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy. I am a fan. He's the only one that makes sense to me. He doesn't attack people. He attacks actions and ideas. He's much more reasonable and intelligent...I thought he was this...conspiracy theorist nut until I read his book...If this wasn't true, he would be sued. So it seems to be true."
