Joe Rogan shares the only way he'll be convinced Mike Tyson is ready to take on Jake Paul with 31-year age gap
Much like fight fans worldwide, UFC sportscaster Joe Rogan is concerned for Mike Tyson in his upcoming boxing match against social media star Jake Paul. Per the 57-year-old comedian, there is only one way 'Iron Mike' convinces him of his ability to face his much younger opponent.
Tyson is set to take on 'The Problem Child' in an eight-round boxing clash on Nov. 15 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
While Tyson in his heyday was one of the most feared boxers on the planet, it has been almost two decades since the former undisputed heavyweight champion fought in a professional capacity.
Furthermore, 'Iron Mike' already had to postpone his fight against Paul earlier this year, owing to an ulcer flare-up.
Now many are concerned whether the once indomitable knockout artist has the necessary endurance to go toe-to-toe with Paul for eight rounds. 'The Problem Child' at 27 years of age is almost 31 years younger than Tyson, who is now 58.
Nevertheless, the former world champion has looked great in the few short training footage he has released on his socials. However, Rogan believes the videos Tyson has shared so far are too short to make an informed opinion regarding his fight readiness.
Speaking on the #162nd MMA Show of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the MMA pundit said:
"I don't know. He looks great on mitts, but I can look good on the mitts, especially if you are watching 30-second clips. What you want to see is him sparring. You want to see him hit the bag for multiple rounds. Let's see three rounds hard on the bag... I want to see how your feet move. I want to see what it feels like if you're off balance when you're throwing combinations."

Joe Rogan on the "best-case scenario" for Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul
As Joe Rogan sees it, Mike Tyson being one of the greatest boxers of time has forgotten more about boxing than Jake Paul has ever learned about the pugilistic arts.
The MMA pundit believes while 'Iron Mike' is much older than his opponent, he could still knock out Paul. During the #163rd MMA Show of JRE, Rogan explained what he believes to be the best-case scenario for the fight:
"At the end of the day, Mike Tyson is a monster. If you can get that monster to just move in and close the distance and if he uncorks a boom-boom [a combination] on Jake Paul and Jake Paul going to queer street, that would be wild. That would be the best-case scenario for the world."
