"People that are recommending health choices, they all look like sh*t" - Joe Rogan takes a shot at Los Angeles' Director of Public Health Barbara Ferrer
Joe Rogan recently took a dig at Barbara Ferrer, an American health executive currently serving as the Director of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
Ferrer is infamous for imposing severe restrictions during the pandemic, which resulted in countless businesses and public schools being shut down for several months. She also faced severe backlash when she mandated the use of masks in Los Angeles.
During a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience alongside American health and wellness writer Max Lugavere, the UFC commentator pointed out that more often than not, people in control of such positions are not in the best physical shape themselves.
Rogan advised Ferrer to eat better and experiment with her diet while speaking about her:
"You [Max Lugavere] ever look at those folks? That's another part of the problem. The people that are recommending health choices, they all look like s**t. Like that woman Barbara Ferrer, the woman who's locking down Los Angeles, that poor lady. Like go outside. I don't know what you're eating but eat something different. That lady looks different."

Joe Rogan advises vegans to get chickens to fulfill their nutritional needs while still being ethical
Joe Rogan is fascinated by the anatomy of the human body and often spends time researching dietary requirements and educating himself.
While he has experimented with his diet several times in the past, Rogan is far from being a vegan. In fact, he has made his love for meat quite clear on several occasions.
On the same episode of JRE with Max Lugavere, Rogan spoke about how vegans can solve the ethical dilemma of eating animals while fulfilling their dietary requirements by raising hens:
"If you have chickens or you know someone who has chickens or if you can get eggs from a place that has a free range of chickens....it's like zero ethical dilemma. They lay eggs everyday. They're not going to be chickens. It's just free protein. If you let this chicken roam around and eat grass and bugs and do the stuff they're supposed to do...you literally have one of the most healthy sources of food that's available to the human body. And it's ethically free."
