Joe Rogan tells Barstool founder to "Shut the f*ck up" for insulting comments on Tommy Fury’s boxing: Throwback

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast earlier in January. Host Joe Rogan and Portnoy got into a heated debate regarding the legitimacy of Tommy Fury as a boxer. While Rogan thought Fury was a proper boxer, Portnoy kept dismissing the Brit's ability until the UFC color commentator lost his cool.

Portnoy said the following about Fury, which Joe Rogan agreed to to some extent:

"We would not know who Tommy Fury is if his last name wasn't Fury."

Dave Portnoy claimed that Jake Paul could "kill" Tommy Fury, to which Rogan had boxing footage of Fury playing up on the screen. Here's what Joe Rogan said while watching the footage:

"So, here's Tommy Fury. You're telling me, this guy doesn't look like a boxer - you're out of your f*****g mind. I don't give a f**k [about who he's fighting], dude. Look at this, he's fighting a professional boxer. The guy he's fighting looks good. You're crazy if you think Tommy Fury isn't a boxer."

While pointing to an uppercut by Fury in the footage, Joe Rogan repeatedly asked Dave Portnoy to "shut the f**k up" and watch the footage in response to Portnoy rambling on and not watching what Rogan was showing him.

Joe Rogan criticizes judges in Paddy Pimblett's UFC 282 win

The last card of 2022, UFC 282, was anti-climactic, to say the least. Joe Rogan was at the commentary booth on a night that featured Jan Blachowicz vs. Magomed Ankalaev in the main event and Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon in the co-main.

The main event was anti-climactic due to neither fighter claiming the then-vacant light heavyweight title in a bout declared a draw. In the co-main event, Paddy Pimblett won a controversial unanimous decision over Jared Gordon, who most people thought won the fight.

On episode #134 of the JRE MMA Show with Belal Muhammad, Rogan alluded to horrible judging, with Muhammad pointing to Pimblett's most recent bout. Here's what Rogan said about 'The Baddy's' win:

"We [Rogan and Muhammad] are looking at each other. I said to you, right before I go, 'He [Jared Gordon] has got it.' I go, 'Jared got him [Paddy Pimblett],' and we both agreed. And then [when they announced the winner], I looked at you like, 'What the f**k?'"

Watch Rogan and Muhammad discuss Pimblett's win below:

Both Rogan and Belal Muhammad agreed that Paddy Pimblett didn't win the first round after being taken down and repeatedly caught by Jared Gordon's left hooks.

Rogan added:

"Yeah, he [Gordon] got f****d and that's unfortunate. You know, I don't like when someone just gets by just because they're famous and they have this big personality. And everybody loves them. The problem with that [the UFC 282 result] is people are going to be rooting against him now, in the next fight."
