Johan Estupinan beams with pride in “representing Latin America” at ONE Championship’s global stage
22-year-old Columbian striking superstar 'Panda Kick' Johan Estupinan is proud to represent his region in the world's largest martial arts organization.
Estupinan joined ONE Championship in May of this year and has remained unbeaten in four fights with the promotion. He has victories over Kouta Omori, Zafer Sayik, Sean Climaco, and most recently, Zakaria El Jamari.
His latest knockout win over El Jamari last weekend netted him a $50,000 bonus from ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
Addressing the media in the official ONE Fight Night 25 on Prime Video post-fight interviews backstage, Estupinan talked about his pride in representing his country of Columbia and the Latin American region in ONE.
'Panda Kick' said:
"I just want to remind you that I'm [not only] representing Colombia, but I'm also representing Latin America, and it's not just me, it's my brother."
ONE Fight Night 25: Nicolas vs. Eersel II on Prime Video went down live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand last Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.
Fans in the United States and Canada can catch all the action via replay on-demand with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Johan Estupinan plans for a finish every time he steps into the ring
'Panda Kick' Johan Estupinan believes he will soon be a star attraction in a big way with more victories in ONE Championship.
The 22-year-old phenom already has four wins in the promotion, three of which have ended early. Estupinan tells fans there's more where that came from.
The Columbian star told veteran ONE Championship broadcast analyst Mitch Chilson in the ring after the fight:
"It all depends on my opponent. The plan was to kick, but I changed it. I couldn’t finish him in the first round, but I tried. And this is a show, I’m just giving you the best show."
