Johan Ghazali says prep for Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat couldn't have gone better: "Everything's been going well"
Johan Ghazali is gearing up for his first fight of 2024 following a breakout year in 2023 that saw him announce himself on the global stage.
The teenage striking prodigy only appears to be getting better with each fight and that makes every one of his contests must-watch TV.
His first assignment of this calendar year comes at the stacked ONE 167 card where he will take on Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat.
It appears that, in Ghazali's own words, the current run that he is on shows no signs of stopping following his preparations for this fight.
The Rentap Muaythai Gym upstart comes into the contest full of confidence as you would expect from one of the most exciting undefeated strikers on the roster.
In an interview with 4oz to Freedom ahead of fight night, Johan Ghazali said that his training camp has gone perfectly to plan:
"I feel confident. I've had one of the best camps I've ever had. I've been training hard, everything's been going well, no injuries, nothing. My weights on point too so I'm feeling confident."

Johan Ghazali has youth on his side
Not every striker is able to make it to the kind of level that Johan Ghazali is already competing at so early on in his career.
At just 17 years old, the sky is the limit for what he could go on to achieve but fights like this next one could be incredibly important for that growth.
During his climb to the very top, Ghazali is going to face adversity, difficult obstacles, and far more experienced opponents who will look to use this against him.
For him, it's about using his confidence and youth to outweigh this which so far, he has been able to do with no issues.
ONE 167 will air live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, next Friday, June 7. North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription can catch the entire card live in U.S. primetime for free.
