Jon Jones allegedly reveals purse for his next fight after DMing fan to debate him on saga surrounding fight with "old man" Stipe Miocic
Jon Jones is almost certainly facing Stipe Miocic in his next fight, with the pair having previously been scheduled to clash at UFC 295. But as the delays continue regarding the re-booking of their title fight, frustration from fans about Jones' refusal to fight interim champion Tom Aspinall also continues to grow.
Aspinall won the interim belt after defeating Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 as a replacement bout for Jones vs. Miocic, after 'Bones' was forced to withdraw from the clash due to injury.
The criticism directed at the 'undisputed' heavyweight champion on X has drawn many responses from him, with one fan even receiving a DM from Jones - who appeared to reveal what he is set to earn for his next UFC fight.
He wrote this:
"OK, what if I'm filthy rich and literally own not one but two small mansions in the same town. What does that make me, just curious?!"
The fan replied:
"All that money in the world and you're still this much of an insecure coward lmfao... Just go fight Stipe then retire so we can forget about you already... Keep ducking [Aspinall] pal."
'Bones' responded with:
"I've already agreed to make $15 million in my next fight... hell yeah bro. I'm about to beat up this old man. And ride off into the sunset. Hope you enjoy watching Will."

Jon Jones backs Curtis Blaydes to defeat Tom Aspinall
Tom Aspinall is set to defend his interim title at UFC 304 in Manchester, England, on July 28th against Curtis Blaydes.
The pair have met once before, with the fight ending in tragedy after Aspinall tore a ligament in his knee less than a minute into Round 1 of their UFC London clash in 2022.
Following news of the interim heavyweight title fight set to take place in July, Jon Jones shared predicted for the clash. 'Bones' believes that Blaydes has a great chance of causing an upset in Aspinall's home city, as he took to X to share his thoughts on the matchup.
He wrote this:
"I wouldn't be surprised if Curtis won, I've seen scenarios like this time and time again. Dude prematurely drinking his own Kool-Aid ends up with a huge piece of humble pie. I mean if Sergei [Pavlovich] can touch Tom that easy, I'm sure Curtis can too. When Curtis decides to go, he's a lot faster than people realize, and he hits hard..."
