Jon Jones momentarily brings out old persona to put Francis Ngannou in his place
Jon Jones had some harsh words for former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou post his victory at UFC 285.
During his appearance at the UFC 285 post-fight press conference, Jones showed a glimpse of his old self by hurling insults at 'The Predator'.
"Francis is a big old p**sy... I love that quote, I love it. All that muscle with a big a** p**sy. Excuse me. I'm so sorry," said Jon Jones.
'Bones' comments came in response to a tweet by Ngannou where the Cameroonian congratulated Jones on the victory but referred to himself as the 'heavyweight king'.
After a three-year hiatus, Jones made a triumphant comeback at UFC 285 and put on an impeccable performance against Ciryl Gane. Jones made light work of 'Bon Gamin' and submitted him in the opening minutes of the fight. By doing so, 'Bones' won the heavyweight title that had become vacant after Ngannou's departure from the UFC.
In his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Jones called for a fight against Stipe Miocic.
"Oh yeah, baby! Y'all wanna see me beat up Stipe? One thing I know about the UFC, is we give the fans what they wanna see. Stipe Miocic, I hope you're training, my guy. You're the greatest heavyweight of all time and that's what I want. I want you, real bad."

Jon Jones is undeniably the GOAT following UFC 285 performance, claims Dana White
UFC president Dana White made an appearance at the UFC 285 post-fight press conference. Sharing his thoughts on the main event, White hailed Jon Jones as the 'GOAT' of MMA.
White added that he was in awe of how easily Jones defeated Ciryl Gane and said that it would not be right to compare Francis Ngannou and 'Bon Gamin' to 'Bones.'
"Holy s**t. Listen, anybody deny this guy is the GOAT anymore? I don't think anybody would deny it. Not only is he the greatest light heavyweight ever, he looks like the greatest heavyweight ever, too... There were a couple of interviews leading up to this fight where he was saying, 'I'm gonna make this look easy.' And I thought that was a silly thing to say. The guy is un-f**king-believable, man. He really is," said Dana White.
