Jon Jones and NFL star Maxx Crosby agree on a "no mercy" deal ahead of big weekend
Jon Jones and NFL star Maxx Crosby recently agreed on a deal ahead of a big weekend for both of them in their respective sports. They appear to have a friendship, so it's no surprise who Crosby will be rooting for at UFC 309 this Saturday.
It will be an important weekend for both athletes as 'Bones' defends his heavyweight championship against Stipe Miocic in the main event of UFC 309. It is a battle for legacy as two of the promotion's greatest champions meet inside the octagon. Crosby, on the other hand, will be looking to bounce back from a loss as his Las Vegas Raiders travel to Hard Rock Stadium to take on the Miami Dolphins in week 11 of the NFL season.
The reigning UFC heavyweight champion uploaded a screenshot of his text exchange with the NFL star to his Instagram story, which shows them wishing each other well ahead of their big weekend. Crosby urged 'Bones' to showcase why he is the best in the world, while Jones agreed and vowed to show no mercy:
"You go show why you're the best on Saturday and I'll do the same Sunday. Deal? [said Crosby] Bro, that definitely sounds like a deal. No mercy [said Jones]. [Crosby added] No mercy."
