Jon Jones reacts to post highlighting disparity between influencer's $43 million annual earnings and his alleged UFC income in 2024
Jon Jones recently commented on an Instagram post comparing his 2024 UFC earnings to OnlyF*ns model Sophie Rain’s staggering $43 million earnings. Rain’s success, according to the post, highlights a sharp contrast, as Jones is projected to earn $6.3 million this year, even with his career-defining fight against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295.
The financial disparity between traditional sports stars and emerging digital celebrities once again came into focus when Sophie Rain, a 20-year-old OnlyFans model, revealed annual earnings of $43.4 million. The earnings seemingly surpass several UFC stars' career income and even the highest single-season salary of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

Jones reacted to the Instagram post by dismissing the comparison and suggesting the information lacked credibility. He wrote:
"Whoever put this together really deserves a round of applause…for mastering the art of talking without knowing a thing."

According to a report by Supreme Fitness, Jones might receive up to $15 million for the Miocic fight, though estimates suggest a more realistic payout closer to $5 million. Jones’ victory at UFC 309, where he successfully defended his heavyweight title, has reignited talks about a potential showdown with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
Longtime commentator Jon Anik believes Jones will negotiate $20–$25 million to return to the octagon in 2025 to fight Aspinall, labelling his demand "absolutely worth it." The American has also expressed interest in facing Alex Pereira. Still, Dana White and the UFC seem keen on putting together a fight between Jones and Aspinall for the undisputed title.
Ciryl Gane opens up about loss to Jon Jones at UFC 285
Ciryl Gane’s first-round submission loss to Jon Jones has shaped his mindset ahead of UFC 310. Reflecting on that loss, Gane admitted it revealed vulnerabilities in his preparation and execution. Facing Jones exposed gaps in his approach, but it also ignited a fire for redemption. Now, with a "spirit of revenge," Gane has channelled those lessons into refining his skills.
As he prepares to face Alexander Volkov, Gane’s focus is sharper than ever. The French heavyweight views his experience with Jones not as a setback, but as a turning point driving his evolution. Speaking about his performance against Jones in the UFC 310 countdown show, Gane said:
“I’ve never fought that way before. My distance management, my movement, the alertness that I love to show... I had none of that. Looking back, I think that this experience may have been beneficial… For me personally, it helped me to refocus on myself. It gave me a spirit of revenge, a competitive spirit.”
