The heavyweight champ wasn’t done there, making it clear in a separate social media post on his X handle, writing:
“Hiring black fighters to mimic me will not help you Stipe. And you shouldn’t have called me a b**ch, the disrespect wasn’t necessary. Let’s play.”

Jon Jones admits feeling "disappointed" after defeating Ciryl Gane
Jon Jones expressed his disappointment after his quick victory in his last title fight. Jones defeated Ciryl Gane in just 124 seconds at UFC 285 to claim the heavyweight title. Despite the victory, Jones admitted that the speed of the win left him with mixed emotions.
In a recent interview ahead of his return to the octagon at UFC 309, Jones reflected on the fight and revealed his feelings of letdown:
“Beating Ciryl Gane was an amazing memory and experience, [but] I remember one of the first major feelings I had was a little bit of disappointment, you know. I remember sitting on top of the cage and celebrating my victory, taking a deep breath and thinking ‘Man, that was fast, that was fast’.”
He further added:
“It was three years leading up to that [moment], a lot of prayer, a lot of meditation, a lot of teamwork – and for it to be over in two minutes and four seconds, I kind of felt robbed in a way.”
