Jon Jones talks about his 5-year plan after UFC, makes an eye-opening remark about a career far removed from fighting
A potential Jon Jones acting career isn't something that most had predicted for the reigning UFC heavyweight champion. However, according to a recent interview on the Alex G Was Here YouTube channel, that may very well be what 'Bones' does next once he retires from fighting.
The pair conversed while Jones drove his host's Bugatti Chiron, during which he was asked what his goals were in the next five and even 10 years. A pensive Jones spoke about wanting one or two more fights in the UFC to make as much money as possible and only then will he venture into acting.
"Within the next five years, I wanna win one more fight, maybe even two more fights and try and make as much money as possible in the UFC. And I want to launch off my acting career. I've always wanted to be an actor. I think I do pretty good on camera and I've done little commercials and things like that."
In fact, the few times Jones has done some minor acting, he claims he was praised for his conduct on set.
"Every time I'm on set, everybody's like, 'Bro, it's hard to believe that you're a fighter. You conduct yourself just like all of our professional actors.' So that's my five-year plan. And 10 years from now I just want to be the best dad I can be, man."

The MMA fandom will likely be pleased to know that Jones may very well fight twice more, especially with matchups with Tom Aspinall and Alex Pereira looming over his legacy. Given UFC CEO Dana White's promise to book the much-desired Jones vs. Aspinall heavyweight title fight, it may finally come to fruition.
Jon Jones wouldn't be the only MMA great to venture into acting
Jon Jones has authored a career that has him heralded as the greatest fighter of all time. If he does indeed branch off into the acting world, he will find that others cut from the same cloth are already there. Fellow MMA GOAT and former UFC two-division champion Georges St-Pierre has done some acting.
Check out Georges St-Pierre in the MCU:
St-Pierre most prominently played the villainous Batroc the Leaper or Georges Batroc character in 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' and 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.' Another ex-UFC double champion in Randy Couture has also appeared in several films.
