#3. Jon Jones out of UFC 295, Tom Aspinall vs. Sergei Pavlovich interim title clash now booked

Jon Jones' second runout at heavyweight is now set to be delayed indefinitely after news he has suffered a severe injury.

Dana White confirmed on Instagram that 'Bones' had suffered a torn pectoral muscle during a wrestling sequence while training. The injury will require surgery, which White has also stated will put him out of action for at least eight months.

Jones' opponent, heavyweight veteran Stipe Miocic, will now not feature on the card at all, with the UFC reshuffling the pay-per-view and booking Tom Aspinall vs. Sergei Pavlovich in their place. The two heavyweights will collide for the interim title as the co-main event.

As for the headliner, Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka's bout for the vacant light heavyweight title has been pushed to the main-event slot.


#2. UFC dropped Modelo to resign Bud Light as the official beer partner

MMA fans have been reacting after reports that the UFC is set to drop beer partner Modelo and re-sign a lucrative partnership with Bud Light.

Anheuser-Busch, the company that makes Bud Light, was initially dropped by the MMA promotion back in 2019. However, according to a recent report by Yahoo Sports, the newest deal between the two organizations is set to be the biggest sponsorship deal in the MMA organization's history.

The partnership is set to begin on January 1, 2024, and has been speculated to be within the region of over $100 million.

Fans have been reacting to the deal, with one fan stating that Bud Light needs the money and good PR following their recent controversial campaign with transgender woman Dylan Mulvaney. They wrote:

"Oh yea I heard bud light is desperate after that Mulvaney stuff. Should be interesting."

Another user referenced Brock Lesnar, who infamously bashed the beer company at UFC 100. They added:

"Don't tell Brock Lesnar"

#1. Irish kid from McGregor vs. Aldo press conference set to make MMA debut

Nate Kelly, famously remembered for his appearance at the McGregor vs. Aldo press conference in Dublin, is set to make his MMA debut in the PFL on December 8.

Kelly captured the hearts of MMA fans close to a decade ago when he was hoisted onto a man's shoulders at a press conference. He then took the microphone and addressed Dana White, stating that he was going to become a new breed of fighter as well as wanting an advance on a future paycheque with the promotion.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani recently highlighted the news that Nate Kelly has lived up to his word, with the 19-year-old now set to feature for PFL Europe. He tweeted:
