Jonathan Di Bella knows he must ‘be ready for everything’ against skilled Prajanchai: “I can’t predict anything”

Jonathan Di Bella knows that if he hopes to come out on top against Prajanchai, he'll have to be ready for anything.

Stepping back inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 28, the undefeated Canadian-Italian will look to reclaim the ONE strawweight kickboxing world championship that he lost on the scale. Standing in his way will be one of the most experienced strikers on the planet, who just so happens to be the current ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion—Prajanchai.

Knowing the skill set that Prajanchai brings into the Circle, Jonathan Di Bella recognizes that he has to expect the unexpected if he hopes to leave the Mecca of Muay Thai with 26 pounds of gold wrapped around his waist.

Di Bella told ONE Championship:

“I’ve just got to go in there and be ready for everything that he has. I can’t predict anything that will happen in the fight – I just predict a win for myself.”

ONE Championship will present ONE Friday Fights 68 live from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 28. Click here to purchase the event via pay-per-view.

Jonathan Di Bella wants to be part of ONE Championship's debut in Atlanta on November 8

Though Jonathan Di Bella is by no means looking past the task at hand, the undefeated kickboxing star hopes that a victory over Prajanchai will land him a spot on ONE Championship's upcoming ONE 169 card in Atlanta, Georgia.

"It's hard to think about that because I've only been thinking about him right now. So, I don't know. There's always contenders I want to fight. So whoever is next in line, I don't mind. I don't care. As long as I defend it on North American soil next."

Recently, ONE announced two massive matchups for its 'ATL' debut on November 8, including a massive ONE heavyweight world championship headliner pitting reigning titleholder Anatoly Malykhin against Senegalese standout Oumar 'Reug Reug' Kane.

ONE 169 will also feature a trilogy fight as Tawanchai and 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut run it back for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.
