Jonathan Di Bella says life in ONE Championship has been simply perfect: “They’re treating me well”

Canadian-Italian former ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella is loving his time in ONE Championship.

The 27-year-old joined the world's largest martial arts organization in 2022 and won both of his fights impressively, taking out tough foes Zhang Peimian and Danial Williams.

Di Bella has fully enjoyed his time in the promotion, and says he's settling in quite nicely, especially where his star power is concerned. The 27-year-old says he loves it when people recognize him from watching him on TV.

Speaking to Bolasport in a recent interview, Di Bella talked about how fans have treated him since performing on the global stage of ONE Championship.

Di Bella stated:

"Life in this organization is good. They’re treating me well, you know. Now, when I come to Thailand, everybody knows me everywhere I go, like they recognize me from TV and they always see me on media day and stuff. So yeah, it’s always nice to have an organization like ONE Championship."

Di Bella is one of the most talented kickboxers in the world today, undoubtedly. And this Friday, the 27-year-old Team Di Bella Kickboxing product will get the chance to prove it once again in front of millions of people around the world.

Jonathan Di Bella to battle Thai star Prajanchai PK Saenchai for the vacant ONE gold at ONE Friday Fights 68

Jonathan Di Bella will get the chance to reclaim his lost ONE Championship gold when he goes to war with ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai of Thailand for the vacant ONE strawweight kickboxing gold.

Di Bella, the former champion, and Prajanchai were scheduled to face each other earlier this year. But the 27-year-old pulled out on the day of the weigh ins, when he couldn't advance with his testing after falling ill.

As a result, he was stripped of the gold and the fight did not push through.

Now, the two are set to lock horns yet again at ONE Friday Fights 68: Prajanchai vs. Di Bella, which broadcasts live from the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 28.
