Jonathan Haggerty believes All-Brit clash with Liam Harrison could still happen: "I'm always up for a scrap"
Jonathan Haggerty says he won't write off Liam Harrison as a potential world title challenger if they both win their next Muay Thai bouts at ONE 168: Denver.
This Friday, the combat sports community will be watching some of the most ruthless and violent competitors take center stage at the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
British superstars Haggerty and Harrison are expected to fill the American stadium with their brutal energy as they each confront two of their biggest foes, Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Seksan Or Kwuanmuang, respectively.
If they meet the fans' expectations at ONE 168: Denver, many would pay good money to see Haggerty bring his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title back to the UK, and defend it for a third time against one of Britain's all-time greats, Liam Harrison.
Discussing a potential all-Brit clash with the 'Hitman,' Haggerty told Mike Owens from Inside Fighting:
"Basically, he's on the same fight card with me. I'm the main event. But who knows, if he can get through that fight, who knows, there could be a fight on the cards. I'm not sure what his plans are, but I'm always up for a scrap."
