Jordan Peterson explains how Joe Rogan caused his clinical psychology license to be under threat
Joe Rogan is known to discuss a wide variety of topics on his wildly famous podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.
The UFC commentator recently discussed Jordan Peterson's psychology license potentially being suspended by the Ontario College of Psychologists due to the professor's social media comments.
Peterson recently appeared on episode #1933 of JRE, in which he humorously placed some of the blame on Rogan:
"Well, it's your fault, actually. You know, I told you a week or so ago when we talked about this... The College of Psychologists has basically levied what is equivalent to about 13 lawsuits against me simultaneously. Now, the reason I call them 'lawsuits' is because they're actions undertaken on behalf of a complainant. Now, the complainant can be anyone, anywhere in the world, who complains about me for any reason."
Peterson added that the complainants don't have to be his clients or even someone that he has met. He also shared some of the complaints received against him before adding how Rogan factored in:
"One complainant from the U.S. submitted the entire transcript of our [Rogan and Peterson] last discussion, so, you know, I don't know how to defend myself against that because apparently everything I say and everything you say, too, is bringing the profession of psychology into disgrace, and I think they're most upset in that case about my comments about the inadequacy of climate models."
Following the interview, Peterson took to Twitter to ask the Ontario College of Psychologists if they had received any further complaints about his latest appearance on the immensely popular podcast.
It remains unclear if Peterson will actually lose his license as he is yet to have a hearing on the matter.

Joe Rogan previously discussed the attempt to "re-train" Jordan Peterson
Earlier this month, Jordan Peterson took to Twitter to reveal that the Ontario College of Psychologists has demanded that he take social media re-training courses. Joe Rogan discussed the situation on his podcast, JRE, while speaking to guest Bret Weinstein on episode #1919.
Rogan stated:
"He [Peterson] is getting in trouble for retweeting some person who was critical of Justin Trudeau. Whatever board of psychologists that they have in Ontario is bringing him in for disciplinary discussions. They want him to be involved in some sort of a class... The term 're-training' is so crazy that he is going to have to participate in mandatory social media communication re-training... You have to be a different person."
While Rogan claimed that the threat is empty as Peterson is no longer a practicing psychologist, he shared that the clinical psychologist shouldn't face backlash as his beliefs have not interfered with his work.
