Jorge Masvidal bashes Jake Paul for constant attacks on Dana White and fighters' pay, says his latest boxing card actually pays fighters
Jorge Masvidal recently took aim at Jake Paul for his constant attacks on Dana White.
The No.11-ranked UFC welterweight called out the former YouTube star, making it clear that he is not a fan of his antics. During his recent appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Masvidal slammed 'The Problem Child' while discussing his upcoming boxing card under the Gambred banner:
"I put my money where my mouth is. This motherf**ker Jake Paul be talking about he pays fighters. Shut the f**k up. When everybody sees what the f**k the card bill is, the whole card from top to bottom, I f**king pay fighters. Me and my promotion pay fighters. My brothers and sisters so they can go earn a paycheck, kick a** and do what the f**k they do. All this other s**t is bulls**t and talk."
Masvidal later expanded on his comments about Jake Paul, calling UFC president Dana White one of the best things that has happened to fighters, adding:
"He's always f**king taking care of us and this doesn't happen without Dana White and the UFC giving the permission so these guys can fight. When I hear somebody like Jake Paul talking s**t about my business partners, I'm like f**k this idiot, what the f**k have you done in this sport, but feed yourself? Shut the f**k up and now watch how the big boys do it."
Jorge Masvidal added that he is looking to bring stacked cards into boxing, noting that the current structure of the sport features cards that don't have compelling co-main events. Gamebred Boxing 4 will take place on April 1st at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
