"Just wasn't my day" - Johan Ghazali on how he came to terms with losing undefeated ONE record

Johan Ghazali says he has come to terms with losing his unbeaten streak in ONE Championship.

The Muay Thai phenom went notably undefeated for five straight bouts, before suffering defeat at the hands of Vietnam's Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat this past June.

The final decision from the judges crushed Ghazali at the time, but it wasn't enough to dampen his spirits. He looks forward to moving past his lone loss to Duy Nhat, and re-establish his foothold in the flyweight Muay Thai division with a hard-earned victory at ONE 168: Denver.

Speaking to Nick Atkin's ONE Championship news, Ghazali said:

"So, yeah, you know, the fght was upsetting, but at the same time, I know I did my best. I put 100% of my efforts into it. Just wasn't my day".

Ghazali is indeed a fighting phenomenon capable of putting together exciting victories as any Muay Thai veteran. Packed with knockout power, speed, and skill, Ghazali is here for the long haul.

Watch him bounce back into the winning column on Friday, Sept. 6, against 'Tuzo' Josue Cruz at ONE 168.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
