Justin Gaethje hopes Nate Diaz never comes back to the UFC

Justin Gaethje is of the opinion that Nate Diaz has no reason to come out of retirement in the future and thinks Diaz could make a lot more money outside the UFC octagon.

In a recent interview with ESPN MMA's Marc Raimondi, Gaethje was asked about his thoughts on Diaz leaving the UFC and a potential comeback for the 'Stockton slugger.' He replied:

"He better not ever come back. He better go make money somewhere else. There's plenty of money to be made for Nate Diaz outside of the UFC. He can be his own boss and that's what he should do."

'The Highlight' stressed that a fighter of Nate Diaz's repute would be better off pursuing more financially lucrative endeavors going forward.

Diaz's recent altercation with Jake Paul's team before Paul's boxing match against former UFC champion Anderson Silva has led many to speculate that the Stockton native could be the 25-year-old's next boxing opponent.

With 'The Problem Child' showing a pattern of calling out retired UFC fighters, there is a possibility that the former UFC welterweight contender and the YouTuber-turned-boxer will exchange leather down the line.

Justin Gaethje claims Khamzat Chimaev should be fighting Israel Adesanya next

Justin Gaethje feels Khamzat Chimaev and Israel Adesanya should share the octagon next.

'The Highlight', however, questioned Chimaev's ability to make weight at 170 pounds, owing to 'Borz' missing weight in his last outing against Kevin Holland at UFC 279. Gaethje said:

"Can he make 170? If he makes weight...I think he's a beast. I don't know why he's cutting that much weight. He should be fighting [Israel] Adesanya."

While it remains to be seen if Chimaev does indeed face Adesanya in the future, 'The Last Stylebender' currently has his focus set on UFC 281, where he will defend his middleweight title for the sixth time against his former kickboxing rival, Alex Pereira. UFC 281 unfolds at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 12.
