Justin Gaethje rips into 'Breakfast Club' host DJ Envy for posting 8-year-old daughter's "vile" Halloween video: "You are one sick piece of sh*t"

Justin Gaethje has sounded off on American entertainment industry staple DJ Envy after the 47-year-old posted a Halloween video featuring his eight-year-old daughter. Certain sections of the socio-political realm deemed Envy's presentation of the child in the video inappropriate.

Envy (real name: RaaShaun Casey) is a radio host and record producer. As reported by Atlanta Black Star, Envy's 2024 Halloween video featuring some of his family elicited severe backlash, while others praised its creativity. The New York-born DJ is married to Gia Casey. The couple has six children: Madison (aged 23), Logan (21), London (11), Jaxson (10), Brooklyn (8), and Peyton (2).

His aforementioned video attempted to recreate Lil' Kim's 1996 hip-hop music video, 'Crush on You.' Eight-year-old Brooklyn essayed the role of Lil' Kim in it. Multiple netizens deemed the outfit she donned and the song's suggestive lyrics as unsuitable for children.

Check out the video in DJ Envy's tweet below:

DJ Envy himself portrayed the role of Luther 'Uncle Luke' Campbell. His daughter London essayed the role of 'Aaliyah,' while his son Jaxson played 'Lil' Cease.' The veteran DJ put forth the video on his Instagram page as well, wherein he got similarly mixed reactions as he did on the X platform.

Gaethje was among those who voiced their disapproval of DJ Envy's Halloween video. He alluded to Envy's past support of Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's 2024 presidential hopeful.

For context, Envy and Charlamagne tha God, who host 'The Breakfast Club' radio show alongside Jess Hilarious, defended Harris during an interview with MSNBC back in 2019.

Meanwhile, Gaethje has long been a vocal supporter of Harris' political rival and the Republican party's 2024 presidential hopeful, former POTUS Donald Trump. Alluding to the variables at play, the ex-BMF champion tweeted the following in response to Envy's Halloween video:

"You are one sick piece of sh*t @djenvy This is the life they want for all of us. He loves Kamala Harris. If you vote with them then you are one dumb son a bi*ch. Either way I will never be on your team. Putting your daughter in this position is some vile stuff #Trump2024Vance #Trump2024"

Justin Gaethje recently reaffirmed his support for Donald Trump amid 2024 presidential elections

Justin Gaethje and his longtime manager, Dominance MMA Management's Ali Abdelaziz, have repeatedly underscored their support for Donald Trump. They've also attended events endorsing Trump's politics. Toward the end of Oct. 2024, Gaethje put forth a tweet highlighting that he'd voted for Trump in the elections:

"Just cast my vote for @realDonaldTrump Proud to be an American since the day I was born. Proud to represent the USA. Get out there and vote for whoever you think will lead this country to peace and prosperity for this is all we strive for. Either way, continue to be a good neighbor. We need each other as much as ever."

Gaethje's most recent fight saw him lose the BMF championship via fifth-round knockout against Max Holloway at UFC 300 in April 2024. Presently, the 35-year-old Gaethje stands at the No.3 position in the official UFC lightweight rankings. It's unclear when and against whom 'The Highlight' will return to the octagon.
