Justin Gaethje tweets four-word retort at "evil" reaction to Donald Trump's golf course shooting, follows up with commentary on left-wing

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Justin Gaethje clapped back at the wife of a former impeachment witness against Donald Trump, for downplaying the second assassination attempt against him.

Earlier today, Rachel Vindman, wife of former lieutenant colonel Alexander Vindman who was the chief witness in the 2019 impeachment proceedings against the former POTUS, seemingly made light of the second assassination attempt against Trump, writing:

"No ears were harmed. Carry on with your Sunday afternoon."

For context, the 78-year-old was injured after a bullet graced his ear during a suspected assassination attempt against him at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania in July.

Earlier this Sunday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office was informed of shots fired at the Trump International Golf Club in Florida.

Per a report by CNN, the assailant, who had a rifle on him, fled the scene as he was spotted by the Secret Service. However, he was later arrested by the Martin County Sheriff's office after a witness identified him. The detained suspect has been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh.

While Trump was playing on the course at the time of the shooting, he was unharmed.

Mrs. Vindman's comments on the sensitive issue did not go down well with Gaethje, who clapped back at her, writing:

"Evil b***h here. Wow."

When a fight fan endorsed Gaethje's claim that the left was largely consumed by hate, Gaethje agreed, writing:

"The left can only consume."

When Justin Gaethje got invited to play golf with Donald Trump

Very few get an invite to go golfing with a former president, and Justin Gaethje is among those few.

After he knocked out Dustin Poirier to win the BMF title at UFC 291, Donald Trump called him up to congratulate him on the momentous win. In an interview with TMZSports, 'The Highlight' elaborated on the pair's conversation, saying:

"I got a call from Trump, that was awesome. He f*****g loves fighting man. He called me and just told me how good I did, and how proud of me he was, how impressive of a show it was, and that if I'm ever in New York or Florida, hit him up and hopefully we can golf."
