Kade Ruotolo tells Jackie Buntan that she barely took any damage in Anissa Meksen war: "You're about ready to go again"
BJJ superstar Kade Ruotolo praised fellow Cali-native Jackie Buntan for her incredible world title victory at ONE 169.
The two champions sat adjacent to each other at the post-event conference when Kade was asked to give Buntan advice on the pressures of becoming a new world champion.
The American standout couldn't transfer much, but he did congratulate her for taking home the gold against such a legendary striker as Anissa Meksen:
"Looks like you didn't take too much damage, so it looks like you're about ready to go again. But yeah, enjoy the win. And I'm super stoked for you."

Kade Ruotolo also displayed a performance with sheer authority when he clashed with experienced veteran Ahmed Mujtaba during their lightweight war. In the past, Kade has stopped some of the toughest grapplers in the industry with the craziest of submissions, but the D'arce Choke was his best win yet.
Conversely, Jackie Buntan put on the performance of her career when she bested Meksen in her own sport of kickboxing by way of decision.
