Kai Kara-France eyes winner of Alexandre Pantoja vs. Kai Asakura and believes he can KO both UFC 310 main events fightersÂ
Kai Asakura and Alexandre Pantoja will headline UFC 310 on Dec. 7, the promotion's final pay-per-view card of the year. Flyweight contender Kai Kara-France will be firmly fixed on the main event, with hopes of fighting the winner in 2025.
Pantoja will look to defend his 125-pound title against Asakura, who will be making his UFC debut. The 31-year-old is one of only a few fighters granted the chance to compete for gold in their first promotional outing.
With the fight only days away, Kara-France discussed the matchup, sharing his confidence that whoever comes out on top will be no match for the punching power of the Kiwi.
During a recent interview with Engage, 'Don't Blink' said:
"I feel like I can definitely knock out Kai or Pantoja. So that's why I'll be tuning in. I'll be in Tahiti, I won't actually be in Auckland. I'll be on holiday with my family, just having a little break before the end of the year... I'll be pool-side watching the fights but come next year, wherever the fight is I'll be ready."
He continued:
"I don't know if Sydney will be an option, it might be a bit too quick for them to turn around if they're fighting in December. I'd love to be fighting close to home, but if I'm fighting for the title I'll be waiting for wherever that is... If Pantoja wins, let's fight in New Zealand, I'll headline that... I'd love to go to Japan, go back over there and fight at the Saitama Super Arena."

Kai Asakura explains what separates him from other flyweights ahead of Alexandre Pantoja fight
UFC 310 will see an exciting talent enter the octagon for the first time when Kai Asakura takes aim at Alexandre Pantoja. With the promotional debutant having competed in Rizin for the past seven years, he is largely unknown to UFC fans.
But during a recent interview with MMAJunkie, the Japanese superstar explained what separates him from the current UFC flyweight roster, saying:
"I'm a little bit different than the other fighters in the flyweight division. I have the ability to capitalize on one of [Pantoja's] mistakes and put him to sleep. So that's what I'm aiming for. That's what makes my challenge for this type of fight different than anybody else."
