Kamaru Usman offers official prediction for UFC 304, talks how Belal Muhammad can finish Leon Edwards
Kamaru Usman recently revealed his pick for the next welterweight title fight between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad. Usman, who has faced Edwards three times, also discussed how Muhammad can prevail over the reigning champion.
In a recent episode of the Pound 4 Pound podcast, Usman gave Edwards the advantage. However, he did not rule out Muhammad pulling off an upset, given that 'Remember the Name' is undefeated in his last ten fights in the UFC.
''Like I said in that first fight where they were fighting, Leon does do this in fights. Leon has moments of brilliance to where he's throwing some incredible strikes, obviously I know, and then he has moments...and I think that's something that serves him very well, but you're not expecting this weird strike or weird this, Belal is just going to do what Belal does and I think that's all he needs to do.''
He continued:
''He [Muhammad] needs to go in there, not be shaken by any flashy technique or any crazy things. He just needs to do him [Edwards], stay on the gas and I think he can get that decision, that decision Victory or potentially even a stoppage.''
Usman then gave his prediction for the fight, saying:
''Leon is starting to kind of settle into the seat. He shouldn't be because I ain't going nowhere yet. He's starting to make his groove as champion, and I think he believes that he's a champion here. Leon is working on just staying there. So, I'm gonna I'm gonna stay with Leon for this one. I think Leon might be able to pull this one out, but I do think Belal could get it done."

Kamaru Usman discusses his UFC return
Kamaru Usman recently disclosed that his career is not finished and that he plans to return to the octagon. Usman acknowledged that he took a break, but he is driven to become a pound-for-pound great again.
In his last octagon outing, Usman faced Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 294, where he was defeated via majority decision. Despite coming out on the losing end, he was praised for his performance, especially considering he took the bout on short notice.
In the aforementioned podcast, Usman revealed that he can still compete at a very high level, saying:
"Like I said, the boogeyman is on sabbatical right now, that's all it is. You know, I still got tread left in these tires and I'm still gonna show that I am one of the best, if not the best in the world." [41:35]
