Kamaru Usman responds after Belal Muhammad trolls 'The Nigerian Nightmare's cameo role in Black Panther 2
Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman might be the king of clapbacks now. In his ongoing Twitter beef with newly-crowned UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, 'The Nigerian Nightmare' perfectly responded to criticism of his performance in the Marvel movie, "Black Panther 2".
When Usman said he "dominated" the division long before Muhammad became the champion, the current UFC welterweight king said:
"Dominated the division? [You] beat [Jorge] Masvidal twice and went to cardio kickboxing with Colby [Covington] twice (Colby sucks). [You] were protected by the UFC... Now you can barely walk. Your podcast sucks. And your part in Black Panther sucked."
To this, the Nigerian-born American fighter replied with:
"lol glad you watched me in BPπ. Unfortunately no one wants to watch you fight much less put you in a movie."
Kamaru Usman vs Belal Muhammad Twitter saga continues
Not to be out-witted on X, the UFC welterweight champ responded to Usman's tweet with an equally hilarious take, saying:
"πππ you were a background character in a movie about fighting.. they mustβve seen your striking and decided no fight scenes"
The string of tweets from Muhammad continued with another gem:
"You should Give [manager] ali [Abdelaziz] your phone your not good at twitter bro"
And another one, with Muhammad, claiming that it's been so long since Kamaru Usman beat Leon Edwards:
"Wait a minute I just noticed your last line ππ you beat Leon when Obama was still president β¦stop living in the past your knees still had cartilage back than"
While trash-talking between fighters is not everyone's cup of tea, it's hard to deny the entertainment value of this back-and-forth banter between the two. Color us entertained. Here's to hoping this entertainment value translates seamlessly to their fight if it ever happens.
