Khamzat Chimaev takes aim at Sean Strickland with a photo of P Diddy: "This is your father?"

Khamzat Chimaev keeps on trolling and targeting Sean Strickland online. Huge part of the humor here is the Chechen warrior constantly getting Strickland's X handle wrong - from @striklad to @sinistrikilad.

In his recent trolling antics, Chimaev posted a photo of hip-hop artist and alleged sex offender/trafficker Diddy (real name Sean Combs). He then wrote to @sinistrikilad:

The X war between 'Borz' and 'Tarzan' is only making fans more and more interested in a cage showdown between the two middleweights.

Despite Dricus du Plessis' desire to fight Khamzat Chimaev, the UFC gives him no.1-ranked Sean Strickland

After UFC 308 last month, Khamzat Chimaev was in nearly every headline of every MMA news outlet after his clinical, first-round dismantling of former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker. Many were calling for him to fight for the title next - including the current titleholder Dricus du Plessis himself.

This is despite the fact that Sean Strickland was the official no.1 contender for the belt, as already announced by the UFC months ago. The two first met at UFC 297 earlier this year, with 'Stillknocks' narrowly outlasting 'Tarzan' to become the division's new champion.

Chimaev's dominant win over Whittaker, however, effectively turned the tide of the division as Du Plessis went on record to say that he chooses Chimaev over Strickland.

But this didn't change the mind of UFC brass as the leading MMA promotion announced during the broadcast of UFC 310 last weekend that Du Plessis will be defending his belt in a rematch with Strickland at UFC 312 next year. The Sydney, Australia, card will take place on February 9, which gives the champion and the challenger more than eight weeks to prepare.

In the meantime, perhaps Khamzat Chimaev can notch another victim under his belt until the champion and his rival settle their score.
