Khamzat Chimaev takes Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov's son to train with him at Tiger Muay Thai
UFC superstar Khamzat Chimaev's close relationship with Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov is well documented. Kadyrov and his family are a constant presence on Chimaev's social media and 'Borz' also trains the controversial leader's sons in MMA.
The Russian-born Swede now appears to have taken the dictator's son Ali with him to train at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand. According to a tweet by Karim Zidan, Ali Kadyrov, along with an entourage of Kadyrov-affiliated fighters, is currently training with the high-ranked UFC welterweight in Thailand.
Ali Kadyrov recently clinched his first professional MMA win against Islam Akbarov at the ACA 150 event last December. The 16-year-old finished business in the very first round with a TKO victory over his fellow Russian.
Unsurprisingly, Chimaev was in the teenager's corner during the event. However, Ali's win was discredited as being illegitimate and rigged by some fight fans online.
As per Tiger Muay Thai's website, Chimaev started training at the gym after his dominant first-round victory over Li Jingliang at UFC 267. The popular Muay Thai facility boasts elite clientele such as women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and UFC pound-for-pound king Alexander Volkanovski.

'Borz' is currently undefeated in his MMA career and holds an enviable record of 12-0. In his most recent fight at UFC 279, the Russian-born Swede recorded a dominant first-round submission victory over Kevin Holland.
When Ramzan Kadyrov squashed the beef between Khamzat Chimaev and Abubakar Nurmagomedov
Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov apparently played an instrumental part in squashing the beef between Khamzat Chimaev and Khabib Nurmagomedov's cousin Abubakar.
Responding to the scuffle between the two fighters at UFC 280, Kadyrov posted a screenshot of himself on a video call with Chimaev and Abubakar Nurmagomedov. The caption said that the dispute between the fighters had been resolved.
The dictator assured that the unpleasantries at the UFC event were the result of mere misunderstandings and that he personally has made sure that there is no animosity left between the two men:
"Nerves can be stressed to the limit not only in the octagon, but also outside. Each of the spectators is worried about the athlete, and the fighters experience the same emotions as in the ring. Therefore, it is not surprising that misunderstandings arise at the limit of emotions. There is no quarrel between Khamzat Chimaev and Abubakr Nurmagomedov - I have made sure of it personally."
