Kiamran Nabati put himself through the wringer in preparation for Nong-O showdown: “I had a hard training camp”
Undefeated Russian Muay Thai star Kiamran Nabati knows just how important his upcoming showdown with legendary Thai fighter Nong-O Hama is, which is why he has put in the work to claim victory.
Nabati says this training camp has been one of his toughest so far, and he can't wait to showcase the fruits of his labor.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Nabati talked about his preparations for Nong-O.
The unbeaten 29-year-old Archangel Michel representative said:
"I started my training camp two weeks after my last fight, and when I heard about the fight with Nong-O, I started and I had a hard training camp. I did hard sparring with hard guys. And for me, this fight is a big opportunity, and after this fight, I will show the world who I am."
Kiamran Nabati is set to face Nong-O Hama in a three-round bantamweight Muay Thai contest.
The two lock horns in the co-main event at ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut, which broadcasts live from the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, September 27.

Unbeaten Russian star Kiamran Nabati fully understands that Thai legend Nong-O Hama isn't an opponent he can simply overlook.
Nong-O had long reigned over ONE Championship's bantamweight Muay Thai division for years and will enter their showdown at ONE Friday Fights 81 a live contender.
Nabati said:
"I know he has dangerous things, and I know he's different, different things also. And Nong-O has experience with dangerous fighters. He has a lot of experience. I respect this guy and that's it."
