"Lamb to the slaughter" - KSI makes eye-opening remark about "disgusting" Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight
The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match has received its latest critic in the form of another influencer boxing star, KSI. The Englishman took to X to dismiss Tyson's chances of emerging victorious come fight night. Not only did KSI lambast Paul for booking the fight, he also referenced Tyson's age.
Tyson is 58 years old, and his age has been a massive source of concern for many heading into tomorrow's matchup. However, Tyson has been adamant that it will not be a factor. In fact, his confidence is bulletproof, as he believes he will win. KSI, though, thinks otherwise.
"Jake Paul will knock out Mike Tyson. This will not be close at all. Boxing is a young man's game and Mike is 58 years old. They're sending a lamb to the slaughter and it's disgusting."
The 31-year age difference between Paul and Tyson has been noted by many who are apprehensive about seeing Tyson's return to boxing. Not only is he much older, but he hasn't fought professionally since 2005, when he retired after being stopped in round six by a far lesser boxer in Kevin McBride.
Since then, Tyson has only fought once, taking part in an exhibition match in 2020 against Roy Jones Jr., who is just three years younger. Many expect the matchup between him and Paul to end in disastrous fashion, but with the fight scheduled to stream on Netflix tomorrow, the hope is that Tyson sustains little damage in a loss.
However, if he somehow manages to turn back the clock and beat Paul, then the combat sports world will surely be turned upside down.
Mike Tyson has vowed to beat Jake Paul
During the pre-fight press conference for the bout, Mike Tyson was asked by a media member in attendance what he would do if he loses. This prompted Tyson to dismiss the question, promising to win.
When the reporter tried to persuade him to address a hypothetical scenario, he lost his temper.
"I am NOT going to lose! Did you hear what I said?"

While Tyson certainly has the wealth of skill to completely school Paul, as well as the power to knock him out cold, it is his age that observers are concerned about. However, Tyson isn't, but only time will tell who is right.
