Laura Sanko reacts to Sean Strickland rightly naming Taylor Swift: "I can think of worse things"
UFC commentator Laura Sanko has reacted to a recent video featuring former UFC champion Sean Strickland.
'Tarzan' recently made a video with content creator Nina-Marie Daniele where he was shown pictures of female celebrities and asked to name them correctly. Strickland got most of the guesses wrong but when musician Taylor Swift's picture came up on screen, the former champion was able to recognize her.
This led to Daniele asking him whether he was a 'Swiftie', a term used for the music sensation's fans around the world. Strickland replied in the negative.
"Oh, Taylor Swift, yeah... First of all, I'm not a f**king Swiftie, all right?"

Sanko took notice of the video and reacted to it in the comments section by saying:
"What if Sean was a closeted [Swiftie]... I can think of worse things."

Strickland was last seen in action in January 2024. He took on Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297 for the middleweight throne. The fight was a razor-close affair that went the 25-minute distance and ended in a split decision victory for the South African. The three judges scored the bout 47-48, 48-47 and 48-47 in favor of 'Stillknocks'.
'Tarzan' is now set to return at UFC 302, which will be held on June 1 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Strickland will lock horns against Paulo Costa in the co-main event of that fight card.
When Sean Strickland gave his opinion on Laura Sanko's commentary
Sean Strickland is infamous for his loud-mouth personality and has often been found saying negative things about other MMA personalities.
But there was one time when the former UFC champion spoke positively about Laura Sanko's commentary skills. On the occasion of International Women's Day, Sanko uploaded a clip to her Instagram account, where Strickland could be seen showering praise on her for her commentary during a UFC fight.
"I was watching her commentate a fight and bro, [Laura Sanko] was giving way more better advice to the [fighter's] corner... I just wanted to yell at the corner like, 'Shut the f**k up and listen to Laura.'"
