Leon Edwards doubles down on calling Belal Muhammad "least intimidating person" in the UFC: "Wouldn't be afraid of him one bit"
UFC welterweight world champion Leon Edwards is set to defend his belt in a rematch with Belal 'Remember The Name' Muhammad at UFC 304 on his home turf of Manchester, England. This weekend, 'Rocky' will try to redeem himself after the disappointing No-Contest ruling of his 2021 bout with Muhammad, which ended due to an accidental eye poke.
Ahead of UFC 304, Leon Edwards spoke to members of the press during the event pre-fight media scrum. When asked what he thinks of his title challenger's threats of dominating him in a lopsided decision, 'Rocky' said (via MMA Fighting):
"If it was me, yeah, I'm not gonna go mad deluded and sh*t and talk random sh*t. But I will [inaudible] knock this guy out, and cut him up and bloody [him]. You want [to be] violent. If I dreamed a scenario in my brain, I would dream violence, I wouldn't dream f**king going on a decision [laughs]."
When reminded of when he called Muhammad the "least intimidating person in the entire UFC," Edwards said:
"He is. I mean, let's say we're in the street and I saw Belal Muhammad. I wouldn't be afraid of him one bit. You know what I mean? That's how I look at it. He's not intimidating. One bit. And that's it."

What did Leon Edwards say about Belal Muhammad's lack of intimidation?
Edwards made his remarks about Belal Muhammad's lack of intimidation back in late 2023. Days after Edwards' dominant decision win over Colby Covington at UFC 296, 'Rocky' tweeted to Belal Muhammad, saying:
"lol belal calm down son you’re the least intimidating person in the organisation. I already told UFC I don’t mind I’ll fight you next that’s easy work. You just have to figure out why they hate you so much 😂"
