Leon Edwards reacts to Joe Rogan's 'security' remark as Belal Muhammad made his way to face off with Shavkat Rakhmonov
Current welterweight champion Belal Muhammad was present for UFC 310. He was called inside the octagon by Joe Rogan to face off with Shavkat Rakhmonov, who secured a welterweight title fight after his win over Ian Machado Garry in a five-round title eliminator.
Muhammad was halted by security on his way to the octagon and Rogan comically commented on the microphone:
"Security doesn’t know he is the champ. Let him in."
Everyone in the venue, and fight fans worldwide, found the American commentator's remarks hilarious. ESPN MMA on Instagram shared the incident mentioned above and captioned it:
"Joe Rogan said this as Belal Muhammad was walking into the Octagon to faceoff with Shavkat Rakhmonov 😭 (SWIPE) #UFC310"

In addition to all the other Netizens who thought this was humorous, English fighter Leon Edwards commented on the same post:
"😂😂😂"
'Remember the Name' didn't respond to Rogan's remarks. Once inside the octagon, he faced the Kazakh phenom, who advised him to prepare for the undisputed title bout and avoid getting injured. In 2025, he and Rakhmonov will fight for the welterweight crown in Muhammad's first title defense.
Conor McGregor mocks Belal Muhammad
Following the current civil lawsuit, Conor McGregor has been less active on social media. Nonetheless, the Irish champion undoubtedly watched UFC 310. McGregor, who is well-known for entertaining fans both inside and outside the octagon, responded to Joe Rogan's 'security' comment on X:
"The security doesn’t know he’s the champ! Look at the state of this c*nt. The security doesn’t know he’s the champ. I’m not surprised, mother f*cker. He is an assh*le. Shut your mouth, you little dope, you barely got into the ring. They don’t even know you were the champ, you tic. Who’s this f*cking guy? ‘Who the f*ck is that guy?’ the security said.”

In 2023, the Irishman was scheduled to fight Michael Chander but pulled out due to a fractured toe. Regarding his future in the octagon, CEO Dana White recently stated that he can likely return in 2025. However, McGregor has hinted at a comeback by posting pictures of himself working out in the gym on his accounts.
