“Let my actions do the talking” - Aung La N Sang responds to Shamil Erdogan’s view that he’ll be an "easy fight"
Aung La N Sang responded to his upcoming opponent, Shamil Erdogan, claiming he's an easy opponent.
At ONE 168: Denver, the 29-year-old looks to continue his road back to the middleweight MMA world title. Standing in the former two-division king's way is Erdogan, an undefeated fighter who defeated Fan Rong in his promotional debut last year.
He has maintained respect for any opponent he faces in MMA. Meanwhile, Erdogan recently claimed 'The Burmese Python' wouldn't be a difficult opponent to defeat.
The Kill Cliff FC athlete responded in an interview with the South China Morning Post:
"Let my actions do the talking, you know. I don’t need to say anything, but I’m training very hard for that. If he really thinks that I’m an easy fight, then it is what it is. I don’t think I’m an easy fight for anybody, you know."
Shamil Erdogan has every right to be confident in his skill set. With that said, Aung La N Sang is widely considered one of the greatest MMA fighters in ONE Championship history, as he's fought many well-respected fighters in the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.

What's at stake between Aung La N Sang and Shamil Erdogan?
Shamil Erdogan made a statment by defeating Fan Rong by second-round knockout. As for Aung La N Sang, the former two-division MMA world champion is coming off three consecutive finishes - Yushin Okami (first-round knockout), Gilberto Galvao (first-round knockout), and Fan Rong (second-round submission).
At ONE 168, he and Erdogan are likely fighting for an opportunity to challenge middleweight king Anatoly Malykhin. It's unclear when the potential matchup would take place, as Malykhin hold three world titles, including the heavyweight throne he's defending on November 8 against 'Reug Reug.'
First things first, the middleweight contenders are focused on emerging victorious inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado on September 6. Tickets for the highly anticipated event can be found on Ticketmaster.
