“Let's get the fans what they want” - Jonathan Haggerty excited for absolute war against Superlek

Undisputed ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Jonathan Haggerty is more excited than ever to welcome an all-out war with an old rival, Superlek Kiatmoo9.

As the organization returns to U.S. soil with ONE 168: Denver on September 6, Haggerty will be defending his Muay Thai belt in this second meeting with Superlek.

Initially, they locked horns for the first time in 2018 outside of ONE, where the UK superstar had to accept a loss after the doctor's stoppage. Now, 'The General' is already deep in preparation for their next fight.

As documented in Haggerty's own Road To Superlek Ep. 1: London on his YouTube channel, he shared his opinion on the differences between then and now:

"It’s an interesting fight. I fought him in 2019 and he beat me. The referee stopped it in the second round due to a cut, but I was only just warming up the fight. So, now that we're both in our prime and we're both on the biggest stage in the world, the fight is going to be even better."

He continued:

"So, it's sort of like it was made for this to happen. I mean, he has been actually calling me out every fight, you know, he wants to step up to bantamweight, so why not? Let's get the fans what they want."
