Liam Harrison admits he can't be careless against 'dynamite' Seksan: "If it goes to sh*t, I'm getting f***ing knocked out"
British Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison believes he'd pay a hefty price if he gets caught slacking against Seksan Or Kwanmuang in their all-legend showdown at ONE 168: Denver.
'Hitman' returns to the global stage inside Ball Arena on September 6, slightly over two years after sustaining multiple injuries from his Nong-O Hama duel at ONE on Prime Video 1.
With any concern about his race to fitness in the rear-view mirror, the Leeds slugger is charged to the nines to come back looking like his former self.
The 38-year-old veteran, however, stresses that there will be little to no room for error against someone of the caliber of Seksan, who shuts down opponents whenever an opportunity arises.
Speaking to the South China Morning Post, Liam Harrison shared:
"It's not like I took a f***ing easy road to come back to, you know what I mean? So if it goes to sh*t, I'm getting f***ing knocked out, you know what I mean?"
The Leeds slugger continued:
"Seksan is dynamite. But I believe everything will go how I see it going."
During his spell on the sidelines, Liam Harrison's eagerness to trade leather with Seksan intensified as he witnessed 'The Man Who Yields To No One' chalk up an impressive 8-1 run. As such, after getting the green light to compete, Seksan was the only name at the top of his mind.
Their similar styles and legendary resumes are among the reasons why 'Hitman' narrowed down his radar to the Thai striker.
