Liam Harrison aiming for the KO against fellow Muay Thai legend Seksan: “This fight is going to be no different”

Though it's been two years since the last time he stepped inside the Circle, Liam Harrison will be the same furious fighter he's always been — pushing the pace and fishing for highlight-reel knockouts.

After undergoing extensive knee surgery and a harrowing recovery process, the 'Hitman' will return to action on Friday, September 6, for a showdown with Thai sensation Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168 in The Mile High City — Denver, Colorado.

With the 38-year-old fan favorite coming back from a brutal knee injury suffered in his ONE world title clash against Nong-O Hama, many have expressed concern that we may not get the same 'Hitman' that we've come to know and love over the years.

During a recent interview with Liam Harrison at the Yokkao Training Center in Bangkok, the three-time Muay Thai world champion made it clear that he will continue to fight the same way he always has — win or lose.

"Everyone knows how I fight," Harrison said. "I fight hard, and every fight, I look to go for the KO or stoppage. This fight is going to be no different."

Liam Harrison game to face Seksan at long last

Harrison's first fight back since August 2022 will be no walk in the park as he meets a man with more than 200 career wins to his credit and an impressive 8-1 record under the ONE Championship banner.

Making his promotional debut at the beginning of 2023, Seksan immediately established himself as a formidable foe on martial arts' biggest global stage, besting his first eight opponents, including knockouts against former WBC Muay Thai titleholder Sean Clancy and Isaac Araya.

With a win over Liam Harrison in U.S. primetime, 'The Man Who Yields To No One' could find himself on the cusp of his first ONE world title opportunity.

Who leaves the United States with their hand raised when two of Muay Thai's most exciting strikers go toe-to-toe at one of the biggest events of the year?
