Liam Harrison believes no one can hold a candle to Nong-O’s ‘powerful’ kicks: “He did the right job with my knee”

Liam Harrison knows all too well just how hard Thai legend Nong-O Hama can kick.

Stepping inside the Circle with Nong-O for a ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title clash at ONE on Prime Video 1 back in August 2022, Harrison was primed to score the biggest win of his career and claim his first 26 pounds of gold.

Instead, the 'Hitman' hit the canvas near the two-minute mark of the opening round after Nong-O uncorked a horrific leg kick that completely shattered the Brit's knee.

Speaking with the South China Morning Post ahead of his return to the Circle on September 6, Liam Harrison recalled the incredible power of Nong-O's kicks, saying:

"Nong-O, seeing that he snapped my knee clean. His kicks were powerful. He did the right job with my knee."

Following extensive surgery and a harrowing recovery process, Harrison is finally ready to strap on the four-ounce gloves and get back to work when ONE Championship heads to The Mile High City on Friday night.
