Liam Harrison not concerned with being "dragged into the trenches" against Seksan: "I've been there before"
British striking icon Liam Harrison isn't going to wilt under Seksan Or Kwanmuang's insane pressure when they trade leather at ONE 168: Denver. 'Hitman' is more than prepared for a long and hard fight against the tough-as-nails Thai crusader.
They lock horns in a legend vs. legend 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai fixture inside Ball Arena on Sept. 6. There, Harrison looks to end his spell on the sidelines with a bang while Seksan aims to fire himself back into the winner's column.
Catching up with ONE Championship recently, Liam Harrison admits he'd be dragged into deep waters against 'The Man Who Yields To No One.' However, he also pointed out that he's no stranger to being in those situations.
"I know it's going to be hard and, at times, I will get dragged into the trenches, but I've been there before," the Bad Company man said.
Harrison has proved just that throughout his decorated journey, none more so prominent than his ridiculous win over Muangthai PK Saenchai inside the Circle in April 2022. After being rocked to the canvas twice, the Leeds native responded with three back-to-back knockdowns to complete one of the greatest comeback victories in the sport.
Should he find himself in a similar scenario against Seksan, here's a reminder: never count him out.
ONE 168: Denver will be available to active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America live in U.S. primetime on September 6. The event broadcasts live from Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
Liam Harrison wants "a few more KOs" before he calls it a day
Liam Harrison's ability to secure highlight-reel victories and flourish in dog fights have played a major role in his road to becoming an eight-time Muay Thai world champion.
And he vows to stick to that same method right until the day he hangs his gloves up for good. In a recent Instagram post showcasing some of his finest finishes, 'Hitman' wrote:
"Ain't anyone from the UK who can send you for an early bath with one shot like I can. Done it consistently for over 20 years and looking forward to adding a few more KOs to the list before I retire 💣💣💣💣 #muaythai #knockout #hitman"
