Liam Harrison hails Nico Carrillo’s violent power in four-once gloves: “He will smash anyone to pieces”

In four-ounce gloves, Liam Harrison believes Nico Carrillo can put anyone to sleep. Making his promotional debut back at ONE Friday Fights 13 in April 2023, 'King of the North' has earned four straight highlight-reel finishes, the biggest coming against former ONE world champion Nong-O Hama.

Stepping inside the ring for a clash with the Thai legend late last year, Nong-O appeared to have things well in hand, blasting Carrillo with some devastating low kicks in the first round.

Essentially a one-legged fighter in the following round, Carrillo stunningly poured on the pressure and earned one of the biggest KOs of the year in the second round.

The fight was a perfect example of the power that Nico Carrillo possesses. During a recent appearance on The FullerWatt Podcast, British Muay Thai icon Liam Harrison talked up Carrillo's impressive strength, saying:

"Nico is just an animal and he will smash anyone to pieces in them four-ounce gloves just because of his size, his speed, his athleticism, his explosivity."

Liam Harrison clashes with Seksan at ONE 168: Denver

While Nico Carrillo is yet to book his next appearance inside the Circle following a win over Saemapetch Fairtex, Liam Harrison is mere weeks away from his first fight in more than two years.

On Friday, Sept. 6, the 'Hitman' makes his first walk to the Circle since suffering a horrifying knee injury against Nong-O Hama in Aug. 2022.

Harrison will feature as part of a loaded ONE 168: Denver card in The Mile High City as he meets 201-win Thai superstar Seksan Or Kwanmuang.

Making his ONE Championship premiere in 2023, Seksan won an incredible eight straight inside the Circle—all within the calendar year. Along the way, he earned big knockouts against Sean Clancy and Isaas Araya.

Can Seksan score the biggest win of his career and spoil Liam Harrison's big comeback, or will the 'Hitman' get his retirement tour started on the right foot in The Centennial State?
