Liam Harrison says he’ll head to Denver two weeks earlier to get used to the altitude: “It’s just the perfect time”

Liam Harrison plans to travel to Denver, Colorado, early for his upcoming Muay Thai fight at ONE 168: Denver On Sept. 6, Harrison will end a two-year layoff when he completes an honorable comeback story.

The UK superstar hasn't fought since Aug. 2022 when he suffered a significant knee injury while challenging Nong-O for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title.

'Hitman' looks to get back on track against Seksan in a matchup between two of living legends who share a similar penchant for chaos.

During an appearance on The FullerWatt Podcast, Liam Harrison acknowledged the drastic elevation in Denver and had this to say about traveling early to acclimate:

"I've spoken to a few people and they've all said the same thing to me - two weeks. It’s just the perfect time to get used to the altitude and stuff there."

Liam Harrison plans to secure "a few more KOs" before ending legendary Muay Thai career

Liam Harrison overcame several obstacles before scheduling his comeback at ONE 168: Denver. Considering his age and achievements, some fans questioned if Harrison would retire regardless of the result against Seksan.

Harrison recently posted throwback Muay Thai highlights of himself on Instagram. He added the following caption suggesting he's not going anywhere:

"Ain’t anyone from the UK who can send you for an early bath with 1 shot like I can. Done it consistently for over 20 years and looking forward to adding a few more KOs to the list before I retire 💣 💣💣💣 #muaythai #knockout #hitman"

Harrison's first step is overcoming Seksan in Denver, Colorado. 'The Man Who Yields To No One' holds an 8-1 promotional Muay Thai record, with a shocking loss against Yutaro Asahi last time out. The four-time Muay Thai world champion looks to bounce back by spoiling Harrison's return.
