Lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo reveals his dream addition to Costa Rica training facility

Lightweight submission grappling king Kade Ruotolo is looking forward to adding a few extra additions to his new training facility in Costa Rica.

The 21-year-old superstar is living his dream as the proud owner of a new academy in Costa Rica. He and his twin brother Tye have put in a lot of effort, time, and money into creating their dream gym, and finally, after a year of renovations, they'll soon open the doors for the public.

But one thing is missing that Kade may have overlooked. He's got the ocean on one side of the country to surf in his free time, but what about skating? Speaking on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Kade said:

"I love skating, yeah, for sure. We need to get some sort of park out here coz there's not much skating around here in the middle of the rainforest, but hopefully we can have a little half-pipe or something soon."

Kade Ruotolo is set to return to the grappling scene on September 6 following a successful MMA outing earlier last month. He's on the grind preparing for a massive champion vs. champion world title brawl against BJJ challenger Darth Rigantoni Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168: Denver.

Watch Kade defend his lightweight title against one of the greatest submission artists in the world in US Primetime via Prime Video.

Tickets for ONE 168: Denver is available at Ticketmaster.

"Kade has the best cardio" - Mikey Musumeci hopes to match Kade Ruotolo's pace with an strategic training camp

Absolutely no one has been able to match Kade Ruotolo's aggression and blazing pace. Perhaps due to all the other sports Kade does on a day-to-day basis, being athletic is almost second nature to this youngster.

For Mikey Musumeci, the idea of fighting a bigger and heavier guy can always feel a little daunting. But shockingly, he's more weary about gassing out too early into the match than being overpowered by the champion.

Kade is known for pushing opponents to the limit, so Musumeci has to be ready for that as well.

Speaking to ONE, the flyweight submission grappling world champion said:

"I'm afraid if I get too heavy, I'll lost cardio and gas out in the first minute, especially because Kade has the best cardio."
