Lito Adiwang says Jarred Brooks’ ‘high-level’ wrestling is too hard to overcome: “It’s like a 90 percent difficulty level”
Highly regarded ONE Championship strawweight 'Thunder Kid' Lito Adiwang of the Philippines has firsthand experience fighting American superstar 'The Monkey God' Jarred Brooks, so he knows exactly what makes the former strawweight MMA king so dangerous.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Adiwang talked about Brooks' wrestling, how difficult it is to deal with, and why it could lead to him becoming champion once again next week.
'Thunder Kid' stated:
"For me, it’s like a 90 percent difficulty level. Because if you only know ‘Okay, this is a takedown, this is the basic counter’ that’s only 10 percent of what high level wrestlers like Jarred has in their arsenal."
Adiwang added:
"You’ll realize that there are levels when it comes to the grappling game once you fight against a high-level wrestler like Jarred. They are really legit wrestlers where they know the other 90 percent that you don’t know about, like how they switch their body weight during matches."
Needless to say, fans can't wait to witness Brooks' world-class wrestling on full display once more when 'The Monkey God' delivers the goods next week.
