Logan Paul drops Conor McGregor tease in speech after getting drafted to WWE RAW
Logan Paul fueled speculation about a potential boxing match with Conor McGregor during his dramatic return announcement to WWE RAW.
While addressing fans at a special kickoff event ahead of WWE’s move to Netflix in January, Paul quoted one of McGregor’s iconic lines, further igniting rumors of negotiations for a future exhibition bout.
Paul declared:
"I'm not here to take part. I'm here to take over."
Paul’s speech also emphasized his dominance in WWE, describing himself as a "bully" ready to seize control of the organization.
"If you have something that I want, I’m going to take it. I’m not asking permission. I am going to take it from you. I know some of y’all in the crowd, some of you at home are saying ‘oh Logan Paul’s a bully.’ I see this narrative online. I can see it in your faces right now. Y’all look like cowards, you’re pathetic. ‘Logan Paul’s a bully.’ Yeah, I am a bully and the WWE is my playground."

Paul’s return to the wrestling ring comes after teasing retirement following his clash with L.A. Knight at WWE SummerSlam in August. Meanwhile, his parallel boxing career has included a high-profile exhibition with Floyd Mayweather in 2021 and a controversial win over Dillon Danis in 2023.
What did Conor McGregor say about a potential bout with Logan Paul?
Conor McGregor has announced plans to fight YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India, postponing his return to MMA. The former UFC double champion announced on social media that he has reached preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to host the high-profile fight.
McGregor, who has not competed since sustaining a leg injury in his 2021 loss to Dustin Poirier, was scheduled to face Michael Chandler earlier this year but withdrew due to a foot injury. Regarding other matchups, McGregor denied rumors of a fight with Ilia Topuria, confirming his focus on the Paul exhibition.
His post on X read as follows:
"The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon."
