"Looking forward to putting on a great show" - Christian Lee 'excited' to impress against Alibeg Rasulov in Atlanta
Two-division MMA world champion Christian Lee returns to the global stage of ONE Championship at ONE 169: Atlanta, and he promises to dish out another trademark performance on Nov. 8.
The 26-year-old superstar defends his lightweight crown against undefeated Turkish sensation Alibeg Rasulov inside State Farm Arena. This marks his comeback fight after spending the past two years away from the limelight following his younger sister Victoria's sudden death.
Though all eyes will be on how he performs and the undoubted pressure that comes with it, the double champ is more than ready to make a statement.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA recently, Christian Lee shared:
"Yeah, I'm definitely excited to be back in the ONE Circle. I'm looking forward to putting on a great show the next time I'm back as well."
His view doesn't come as much of a surprise. After all, Lee's tenure on the global stage has been synonymous with show-stopping performances.
The welterweight and lightweight king has chalked up 16 victories by knockout and submission — a promotional record — to go with his impressive 17-4 resume. His only decision win came against Dagi Arslanaliev in the ONE Lightweight MMA World Grand Prix Championship final, a fight he took on short notice.

Stepping back into action after 24 months away isn't going to be an easy task even for someone of Christian Lee's cailber. The Singaporean-American fighter certainly knows that.
To tackle the issue at hand, Lee has doubled up his training program for his lightweight world title defense and future fights that will follow.
In the same session, he added:
"I'm training twice as hard in the gym every day, and I'm looking forward to facing each and every one of them."
