Luke Rockhold nearly involved in brawl in Russian spin-off of The Ultimate Fighter featuring another former UFC champion

Luke Rockhold is featuring in a Russian spin-off of the UFC's reality show, 'The Ultimate Fighter,' where fighters live in a house together and compete to earn a contract. The Russian spin-off is called Hardcore Fighting Reality Show, and during a recent episode the former UFC champion was nearly involved in a heated brawl in the fighter house.

The incident involved a Kazakhstani fighter known as Vasif Abbasov, with another former UFC champion in Tyron Woodley getting in between Rockhold and Abbasov to ensure things did not get physical. It is unclear exactly what caused the incident to kick off, but the former middleweight champion can be heard saying this:

"You're a f**king p**sy!"

Rockhold and Woodley featured as coaches for the teams on the show, but unlike The Ultimate Fighter, the pair will not face off in the finale.

Luke Rockhold and Khamzat Chimaev clash in grappling match on Hardcore Fighting Reality Show

Luke Rockhold is known to be an extremely capable grappler, and is arguably one of the best grapplers to compete in the UFC's middleweight division. Currently, however, Khamzat Chimaev can certainly claim to be the best grappler at 185 pounds actively competing today. 'Borz' recently secured a brutal Round 1 submission win over Robert Whittaker at UFC 308.

With both Rockhold and Chimaev known as elite grapplers, the pair were coerced into having an impromptu grappling match when they both appeared on Hardcore Fighting Reality Show.

The pair clashed in a five-minute grappling match during a training session, with high-level scrambles on display for fans and fighters to watch.

Despite Rockhold's world class skillset, 'Borz' showcased exactly why he could finish Whittaker inside five-minutes, as he dominated the American for much of their match. Chimaev finished the clash by submitting the 40-year old with what appeared to be a variation of a bicep-slicer.

The match took place during episode seven of the reality TV show, which was uploaded to YouTube.
