Magomed Ankalaev echoes Jiri Prochazka, alleges "demonic" hand behind Alex Pereira's record-breaking UFC exploits
Magomed Ankalaev's recent tweet indicates his belief about Alex Pereira having supernatural powers. Jiri Prochazka may have accused 'Poatan' of using black magic, but Ankalaev mentioned that the Brazilian draws his powers from demons and voodoo.
Pereira has been on a stupendous run right from his UFC induction. A tweet from @afeldMMA reveals the incredible accolades he has achieved in the octagon.
But, Prochazka was certain about Pereira using supernatural elements like black magic for his fights, which makes him as scary as he is. Ankalaev also echoed Prochazka's stance and mentioned that Pereira would win at UFC 307 again but with the help of "voodoo".
However, Ankalaev counted himself as the only one who could make Pereira stop using such supernatural means.
The 32-year-old also mentioned that he would beat the "demon" out of Pereira in the encounter.
"My prediction for UFC 307 main event @AlexPereiraUFC win KO voodoo help. After this, I have to do my job and I will beat this demon out of him. They will never come back."
Magomed Ankalaev's manager predicts the fight against Alex Pereira to happen in 2025
Magomed Ankalaev is also managed by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev's manager, Ali Abdelaziz. The Egypt native had criticized the UFC's decision to provide the No.8 ranked Khalil Rountree Jr. with a title shot instead of Ankalaev.
However, Abdelaziz hasn't given up on the hopes of providing his client with a shot at the UFC light heavyweight gold. In an interview with ESPN MMA, he predicted that the Pereira vs. Ankalaev clash would happen in 2025.
"It’s bullsh*t, he’s [Ankalaev] not getting a title shot... I believe he’s the best light heavyweight on the planet... Magomed Ankalaev will handle business, Alex Pereira will handle business, and these two guys will fight in 2025."
