Magomed Ankalaev takes aim at Alex Pereira and Jon Jones for 'ducking' divisional matchups: "These guys are a joke"

Magomed Ankalaev recently took aim at both Alex Pereira and Jon Jones and blasted them for avoiding fights against top contenders in their respective divisions. The Russian has been regarded as the top contender at 205 pounds, but has yet to receive a title shot against 'Poatan'.

The No.1 ranked light heavyweight has voiced his displeasure about Pereira avoiding a fight against him because it wouldn't be a favorable matchup. Although he didn't receive a title shot, Anklaev continued picking up wins against whoever the promotion put in front of him and now appears to be undeniable of a title shot.

Ankalaev has now shifted his attention to 'Bones' as he believes he has done the same with Tom Aspinall despite fans expressing interest in the title unification bout.

The Russian recently took to his X account and blasted 'Poatan' and 'Bones' by posting a photo of the two of them when they were in attendance at Noche UFC 306. He tweeted:

"[Goat emoji x2] [duck emoji x2] DFC These guys are a joke"

Magomed Ankalaev expressed interest in fighting Jon Jones

In addition to his post regarding Alex Pereira and Jon Jones, it appears as though Magomed Ankalaev has ramped up his attack on 'Bones' as he sounded off on him in several posts.

The Russian has claimed that the reigning heavyweight champion has been ducking Tom Aspinall out of fear and even posted an edited photo of 'Bones' wearing duck patterned shorts. In another post, Ankalaev even expressed interest in fighting Jones and outlined his plan to doing so:

"Jones doesn't want to fight Aspinall, Pereira is recovering and I'm hungry. I will beat Pereira and after that I can beat Jones."
